Content development

Accessibility is best planned and implemented during content development - for example, during course (re)design or website construction.

Building accessibility into the process from the start reduces remediation needs, ensures compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, and creates a better user experience for all. Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the templates, accessibility checkers, and training resources available through DART to integrate accessibility best practices into every new document, media file, and digital project.

AsULearn courses

AsULearn courses are supported by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for Student Success. They provide course design and accessibility review support.

Department websites

Department websites are supported by University Communications. They offer guidance on content strategy and help departments develop and organize relevant, engaging, accessible, well-organized content that provides a quality experience for all users on all device types.
